Former CEO of Gene Juarez
Janet Denyer, former CEO of Gene Juarez, will be honored as UWiB's “Woman of the Year” for her outstanding achievements in helping promote greater awareness and understanding of the issues and challenges women face in business. Denyer took the helm as CEO of Gene Juarez in 2006 following the sale of Gene Juarez to Evergreen Pacific Partners. During her tenure, Gene Juarez Salons and Spas experienced record growth. Earlier in her career, Denyer served as vice president of operations at Red Door Salons and Spas. She is an alma mater of the University of Georgia with degrees in education, kinesiology, and dance.
